All about Aoife

I’m Aoife Keeley, a UX designer at Each&Other based in Dublin. My career path has never been a straight line, and that’s what makes my perspective unique.

At Each&Other, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a major Google project focused on understanding user needs, behaviours, and product adoption journeys. I’ve contributed across research and design activities, from shaping discussion guides and supporting interviews to mapping customer journeys and creating clear visual outputs that translate complex insights into actionable direction.

I hold a BSc in General Science, which gives me a strong foundation in analytical thinking and problem-solving. But instead of heading into a lab, I spent the next ten years teaching English and academic skills, working with diverse groups of learners from all over the world. Teaching sharpened my skills in communication, empathy, and adaptability, and has shown me how people engage with information in very different ways. I learned to spot when someone was confused, when they were engaged, and when a change in approach could make all the difference.

Most recently, I completed the IADT Certificate in Foundations in User Experience Design (QQI Level 9) and DCU Certificate in User Experience (QQI Level 8), where I built case studies in usability testing, user research, and interaction design. These projects focused on challenges such as progressive disclosure and navigation in hospitality, trust in healthcare booking systems or social network platforms, accessibility in online platforms, and inclusivity in housing searches. Through this work I developed skills in project management, presentation Figma, Miro, primary research, user testing, heuristic evaluation, and accessibility standards, all grounded in evidence-based design.

Alongside education, I’ve always been fascinated by art, psychology, and photography. These interests influence the way I approach design. They remind me to pay attention to detail, to consider human behaviour, and to balance clarity with creativity.

At the heart of my practice is a simple belief: good design helps people feel confident, supported, and understood. I want to create digital experiences that are intuitive, ethical, and inclusive through UX design.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me exploring Dublin, diving into a new book on psychology, or writing the next chapter of my book.
